He was predeceased by: his parents, Lena Kilen and Gilbert Thompson; his former wife Lola Mayonne Fauske; and his siblings, Jean Nyquist, Darlene Dixon, Deloris Wentworth, Loraine Thompson and Larry Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Thompson; his brother Ronald Thompson; his daughters, Cindy Haisten (Keith), Janet Sisk (Tom), Tammy Teal and Jennifer Kilen Glascock (Frank); his grandchildren, Corey Kilen Haisten (Candi), Ethan Haisten (Megan), Elizabeth Sisk, Savannah Sisk (Jessie Sarbor), Earle Graham (Katie) and Jake Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Cadyn Haisten, Cole Kilen Haisten, Olen Haisten, Kilen Haisten and Ellie Reese Haisten.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hunter Street Baptist Church (2600 John Hawkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35244). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
