Douglas E. Fortenberry Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2022, at the age of 68, Douglas E. Fortenberry of Hoover, Alabama, born in Jackson, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene T. Fortenberry and Isabelle Girard Fortenberry. He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Wuska Fortenberry; his brother Tom Fortenberry; and his parents-in-law, Sara Wuska, Tim Wuska, John Wuska and Jackie Wuska.
Before covid Doug attended the Episcopal Church of the Ascension but due to his kidney disease and other health issues continued his spiritual journey and prayers at home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Ascension or your favorite charity.
