He is survived by: his wife Laura Howard Boyd; his daughter Katie Boyd; his granddaughter Lucy; and his siblings, Jennie Barrett (Nealy) of Wetumpka, Alabama, Jim Boyd (Kathleen) of Germantown, Johnny Boyd of Wetumpka and Jeff Boyd (Jennifer) of Sprague, Alabama. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
