It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Harper of Hoover, Alabama, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Beverly Harper; and his daughters, Amanda Ressler and Dana Bone. He is survived by: his parents, Luther Harper and Ellen Harper (Layson); his wife Phyllis Harper (Goodwin); his sister Lenora Dean (Randy); his children, Beau Harper (Ashley), Blake Harper (Kathryn), Jennifer Bowen (Brian) and Bridget Connell (Jody); his grandchildren, Carson, Ava Grace, Savannah, Dillan, Andrew of Troy, DJ, Anthony, William, Katelyn, Lakelyn, Mila Rose, Sutton and Fischer; and his great grandchildren, Rileigh, Oakleigh and Kayslie.
In lieu of flowers & gifts, the family is asking for donations to the UAB Living Donor Kidney Transplant Research Acceleration Fund.
