We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Christopher Michael Sterley of Hoover, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his child Sigma Chi Fraternity; his parents, Kirk Sterley and Kristine Dolly Van Dyke; his stepfather Kyle Van Dyke; his siblings, Matt Sterley, Michelle Sterley, Rachel Sterley Caver, Amanda Sterley and Brody Dolly; his nieces and nephews, Madden Sterley, Peyton Sterley, Evelina Irwin, James Caver and Raelynn Irwin; his grandparents, John, Nancy Sterley of Pennsylvania, Tom and Joan Foster of Georgia; his aunts and uncles, Dean, Cindy Sterley, Mitzi McFarland and Tim Watkins; and his cousins, Elijah McFarland, Trey McFarland and Natalie McFarland.

Christopher planned on beginning his Nursing career at UAB Hospital in the MICU wing treating covid-19 patients.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be sent to Camp Winnataska at 260 Winnataska Drive, Pell City, Alabama 35128, or UAB Sigma Chi Fraternity at C/O Bryan Ortega, 6132 Valley Station Dr, Pelham, AL 35124, in Christopher's honor.
