He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeno Era Barber and LaVern Marie Barber; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Meyer, Don Daniels and Susan Mueller.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Barber; his daughter Stephanie Barber Buffington (William); his grandchildren, Liam Jackson Buffington, Sawyer Charles Buffington and Brooks Hall Buffington; his brother Jeffery Barber (Cherri); his brothers-in-law, Charles Meyer (Jill) and Donald Mueller; his sister Connie Daniels; and his sister-in-law Donna Meyer. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ryan Winslow American Legion Post 911 or Vestavia Hills Lutheran Church.
