She was predeceased by: her son Robert Wayne Sims; and her parents, Vera Weaver and Sidney Weaver. She is survived by: her husband Joe Sims Sr.; her son Joe Sims Jr. (Kim); her grandsons, Perry Sims (Caroline), Peyton Sims and Preston Sims; her sisters, Mary Frances Bragan and Ann Jaynes; and her sister-in-law Barbara Sims. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
