She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Sentell and Nettie C. Sentell; and her sister Marie S. Belcher. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen (Suzanne) and Brian (Angela); her husband Jerry L. Scharf; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Ashley, Mary Glynn, David and Daniel; and her brothers, Lee Sentell and Johnie Sentell.
