Barry Gallo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barry Gallo (Hoover, Alabama), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Barry's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norma Jean Gallo and Louis James Gallo; and his sister Cindy Gallo Price. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Gallo (Lauren) and Leigh Gallo Hunt (Guy); and his sisters, Debbie Gallo Berris (Craig), Karen Gallo and Diane Gallo Frosch (Gerard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family has special gratitude to the medical staff and The Bone Marrow Transplant Team at UAB and ask that donations be made to the Bone Marrow Transplant program at UAB in lieu of flowers.
