Barbara Wilson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Wilson of Hoover, Alabama, who passed away on January 18, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roland Bernard Wilson; and her parents, Jimmie Smithson Orso and Nick Orso of Bessemer. She is survived by: her children, Rolanda (Jim Waddell) of Hoover and Wade (Michele Wilson) of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Nicholas Wilson (Kaley), Mackenzie James (Josh), Shelby Waddell, Derrick Beining and Amanda Keelen (Kevin); and her siblings, Christine Donaldson, Nick Orso and Dr. Ron Orso (Diane). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Pastor's Discretionary Fund at Bluff Park United Methodist Church.
