She was predeceased by: her husband Andy Straynar of Bogue's Restaurant; and her siblings, Sara Strong, Evelyn Labue and Ted Dean. She is survived by: her children, Barbara J. Straynar, Stacey Straynar Falkner and Greg Straynar; her grandchildren, Christopher, Aaron Straynar, Maxwell Falkner and Evelyn Falkner Frye; and her great grandchildren, Bryce, Kye Straynar, Sophia Jalil, Annabelle Nelson and Andrew Falkner.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (2701 John Hawkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35244). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
