She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Knowles and Winona Knowles; and her sister Lillian Sue Johnson. She is survived by: her husband James "Gerald" Bowers; her daughter Renee Bowers; her nephew Jerry Johnson (Hilda); and her niece Karen Christian.
