He was predeceased by: his parents, Khanoom Taj Aziz and Ali Rismanchi Yazdi; and his sisters, Maheen, Ashraf and Akram.
He is survived by: his wife Roya; his children, Leila Dolatabadi (Mohammad), Maryam Holmes (Demetri) and Zaki Yazdi (Colleen); his siblings, Reza and Effat; and his grandchildren, Arman, Elli Dolatabadi, Ava, Helen Holmes, Elliott and Alice Yazdi. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
