It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alec Jay Boozer of Hoover, Alabama, born in Greensboro, Alabama, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Faye Boozer; his parents, Luther Ezell Boozer, Jr. and Myrtie Belle Mason Boozer; and his brothers, Luke, Lester, Charles and Jewel Boozer.

He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Gilbert (Jeremy) and Julie Armstrong (Tim); and his granddaughter Jessica Armstrong.
