He is survived by: his close friend African Pygmy; his pet Alcatraz; his children, Ashley Gafford (Andrew Tomlin), Thomas "T. J." Ronald Gafford II (Ashlynn), Caitlyn Spann (Jonathon), Morgan Gafford and Jonathan Gafford; and his siblings, Nelda Moseley, Stephanie Gafford and Terry Joe Johnson. He is also survived by 3 nephews, a niece, two great-nephews, and a great-niece.
