He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Kennedy and Ella Anderson Kennedy; and his brother Gary Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Robertson Kennedy; his daughter Shana; his son-in-law Waylon Defee; his grandson Landon Defee; and his brother Barney Knotts.
