She was predeceased by: her husband Joshua Barrett Thomas Jr; her daughter Latrell Thomas; her parents, Sidney "Gip" and Ethel Lawrence Walker; and her siblings, Wilfred Walker, Grady Walker, Helen Hockett and Thanna Grayson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Holder (Joe), Betty Jo McGough (Ricky) and Lynn Roper; her grandson Josh Roper; and her sisters, Erlene Watson and Janice Barron. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
