Thomas Lawson Selden Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Lawson Selden of Homewood, Alabama, born in Fairfax, Virginia, who passed away on November 2, 2023 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Jane Wright Selden of Talladega, Alabama.; and his former wife Susan Jane Miller Selden. He is survived by: his children, Anne Lindsay Selden of Birmingham, David Inge Selden of Portland, Oregon. and Paul Armistead Selden of Portland, Oregon.; and his siblings, Martee Selden Hewitt (Jamie), Armistead Inge Selden III (Liz), Jack Wright Selden (Kathy Collier) and Edith Selden Ezell (Larry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins.

The family requests that any donations in Tom's memory be made to Sewanee: The University of the South, to The American Cancer Society, or to the First Light Shelter in Birmingham, Alabama.
