She was predeceased by: her husband Harry M. Elliott; and her parents, Rev. William Harris and Margaret Harris. She is survived by: her children, George Elliott (Alice), Mark Elliott (Lisa), Bill Elliott (Rebecca) and Susie Lengel (Bob); her grandchildren, Laura Short (Scott), Glenn Elliott (Lauren), Paul Lengel, Ben Lengel, Thomas Lengel and Grace Elliott; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Evie and Lucy.

In lieu of flowers, Susie's family requests donations to Trinity United Methodist Church, 1400 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, AL 35209.
