Kathleen Reisner Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kathleen Reisner (Homewood, Alabama), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kathleen left this world on January 4, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearlie Mims and Rollis Mims; her husband Theodore Roosevelt Reisner Sr. (Ted); her siblings, Billie Gene Mims, Jolene Mims Cleckler and Gearldean Mims Harris; and her granddaughter Nikki Marie Rose.

She is survived by: her sister Birmingham; her sons, Theodore Roosevelt Reisner, Jr. (Cherri) and Rollis Edward Reisner (Michele); her granddaughter Cecilia Jane Reisner; her stepdaughters, Darlene Real Higginbotham (Steve) and Debby Jane Rose; her grandchildren, Tracy Real Vebber (Brett), Rachel Real Poovey (Michael), Richard Real (Kelli), Tonya Rose Brady (Neil), TJ Rose (Cyndi), Drew Rose (Kinsey), Dana Rose Coale (Justin) and Debby Rose Gettle (Ryan); her nephew Kerry Harris-Nolan (Tom); and also, Carl and Rita. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ridout's Valley Chapel (1800 Oxmoor Rd, Homewood, AL 35209). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
