With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita G. Johnson (Homewood, Alabama), who passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Juanita had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Juanita may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clarence Gaither and Henrietta Crumbley Gaither; and her husband William Arthur Johnson. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Clarice Johnson of Birmingham. She is also survived by her family as well as her many friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ridout's Valley Chapel (1800 Oxmoor Rd, Homewood, AL 35209). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Shades Mountain Baptist are welcome.
