With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet M. Skellie-Keel (Homewood, Alabama), born in Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on February 13, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Skellie and Patricia Skellie. She is survived by: her son Ry Skellie Keel; her daughter-in-law Katie Keel; and her siblings, Denny Skellie (Libby), Kenny Skellie (Tommie), Beverly Hiott (Joe), Pattie Sue Triola (Anthony), Buddy Skellie (Mel), Beth Adkins (Trace) and Mike Skellie (Christy). She is also survived by thirty nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Jan may be made to her favorite charity Hand in Paw.
