With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Bodden of Homewood, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on July 16, 2024 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elizabeth Bodden to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Henry Burke and Jean Marie McClure Burke; and her brother Cecil Anderson Burke, Sr. of Birmingham. She is survived by: her children, Rupert Bodden, III (Marleen), Christie Haffner (Jay) and Frances Woodruff (Bill); her grandchildren, Patrick Bodden (Erin), Jacob Bodden, Mary Bodden, Katie Haffner (Taylor), Burke Haffner and Cherry Woodruff; and her great grandchildren, Lena Bodden and Opal Bodden.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Independent Presbyterian Church Community Missions or to Homewood Public Library.
