He was predeceased by: his parents, James Willard Griffin and Mary Elanor Griffin. He is survived by: his children, H. Lea Cockerham IV of Homewood, AL, Kristin V. Franco of Scottsdale, AZ, Kimberly T. Cockerham of Phoenix, AZ, David W. Griffin of Atlanta, GA and Mary Faith Martin of Greenville, SC.
The family humbly requests that in lieu of flowers, gift donations be made in Wayne's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
