He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Amos Carson Thompson and Helen Patra Holloway Thompson; his wife Martha S. Thompson; his children, Cynthia Thompson Parris (Steve) and Lee Carson Thompson (Kelly); his grandchildren, Helen, Jonathan, Kate Parris, Reese and John Carson Thompson; and his siblings, Charles Thompson and Brenda Thompson Hager.
In lieu of usual remembrances, memorials honoring the life of Alfred Carson Thompson may be directed to Trinity United Methodist Church Building Fund or to the charity of choice.
