With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emily Sue Medlock of Hollywood, Alabama, who passed away on December 7, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Medlock and Nellie Medlock; her brothers, Ronnell "Bones" Medlock and Sonny Medlock; her daughters, Anna Marie Nix and Anita Sue Nix; and her grandchild Miciaih Nix.

She is survived by: her sons, David Nix (Harriett), Cliff Gilliam (Christie) and Robert Nix. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
