She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennett Hosmer Pate and Enza Eunice Hollaway; her siblings, Hubert Samuel Pate, Ora Lee Nichols, Hosmer Scott Pate (Hoss), Nancy Norene Tedder, Lonnie Laverne Pate, Neal Edward Pate and Peggy Jean Carden; her daughter Brenda Joyce Pentecost; and her great grandchild Asher Meads.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Lane Meads (Tracy), Timothy Wayne Meads (Debra), Neoka Jane Hambrick (Larry) and Carlton Schrimsher; and her sisters, Eunice Faye Wingo and Deanna Pate. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
