He was predeceased by: his parents, James Batch and Mattie Beatrice Chappell Underwood; and his sister Peggy Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Fay Delores Duskin Underwood; his children, Jeffery Alan Underwood and Sharon Pinyan; his son-in-law Sam Pinyan; his sisters, Overa Twilley and Sue Wilson; his grandchildren, Cody Underwood (Latosha), Shayne Pinyan (Kourtney) and Kimberly Thomas (Michael); and his great grandchildren, Ava Mae, Allie Kate and Ashlyn Grace.
