He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Nelson and Juanita Creasy Bewley; his grandson Jackson Lambert; and his siblings, Bishop Bewley and Lavella Dornan.
He is survived by: his wife Terri Welsh Bewley; his daughters, Michelle Adams (Randal) and Nicole Thomas (James); his grandchildren, Morgan Lambert (Cody), Bo Thomas, Kaylin Cox (Skylar) and Cory Adams; his great grandchildren, Gunner Cox, Brayden Cox, Brycen Cox and Salter Banks; his siblings, Jimmy Bewley (Kathy) and Hilda Caudle (Howard); his mother-in-law Dorothy Horton; and his close friend J. D. Landman.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel (161 Brooklyn Rd, Holly Pond, AL 35083). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Brooklyn Cemetery (4404 Co Rd 1682, Holly Pond, AL 35083).
