He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Shoemaker and Hester Shoemaker (Wisener) of Holly Pond, Alabama.; his sister Vileta Foust; and his brother-in-law Roscoe Foust. He is survived by: his wife Gladys; his sons, Steven (Darla), Ben (Katrina), Bill (Daricer) and Robert (Julie); and his stepsons, Bill Wilson (Alisa), David Wilson (Jan) and Mark Wilson (Sharon). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
