He was predeceased by: his parents, George Estes and Mary Latham Estes; his siblings, Milton Estes, Talmadge Estes, Feltus Estes, Wayne Estes, Mozell Bailey and Louise Chestnut; and his friend Betty McKinsey.
He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Hooper (Rodney); his grandchildren, Clay Hooper and Tera Hooper (Trebvor Thomas); and his sister-in-law Sue Linton Estes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
