It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Jean Graves Ellard (Holly Pond, Alabama), who passed away on April 29, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Higdon and Lena Burgess Graves; her husband Fred Ellard; her siblings, Charles Elton Graves (Kathryn), Beatrice Smith (J. T.), Marie Kaler (Moe) and Ella Watson (Donnie); her granddaughters, Kristy Lowry, Donna Ellard and Danielle Brown; and her great grandchildren, Savannah Shivers and Olivia Myers.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Bryan (Bartee), Michael Ellard (Sandra), Patsy Brown (Roger), Tony Ellard (Mary) and Tina Southerland (David); her grandchildren, Sonja Shivers, Chris Bryan (Stephanie), Jennifer Ellard, Stephanie Brown, Michael John Melones, Lena Boggs (Ethan), Will Ellard, Jessica Coker (Jeremy), Brandon Da Silva and Wes Ellard; and her brother Jim Graves (Evelyn). She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
