He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford McElroy and Ophelia Pesnall McElroy; his wife Sue Tankersley McElroy; and his brother Leon McElroy. He is survived by: his children, Steve Bell, Dennis Bell, Mike Bell, David Bell and Tracey Wood; and his brother Delton McElroy of Billy McElroy. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
