He was predeceased by: his parents, Leldon Steele and Gladys Steele. He is survived by: his children, Taylor Steele (Candi), James Steele, Josh Steele, Justin Steele, Tania Steele and Stephanie Steele; and his siblings, Richard Kevin Steele, Troy Steele, Nathan Steele, Danny Steele (Vicky), Glenda Steele and Diane Westmoreland.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
