He was predeceased by: his parents, Meritt Arnold and Lora Evelena Duke Thomas; his wife Erlene Ellen Dunlap Thomas; his daughters, Vickie Lynn Odum, Tina Michelle Lackey and Janet Williamson; his siblings, Cecil Thomas and Frances Thomas Cochran; and his great grandchild Trenton Ennis.
He is survived by: his son Ricky Thomas; his sons-in-law, Bob Odum, Jay Lackey and Gary Williamson; and his siblings, Jerry Thomas (Jerl), Carl Thomas (Ginger) and Betty Kelley (Miles). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and four great- great grandchildren.
