He is survived by: his children, Karen Perry, Kandace Phares (David) and Charles Kevin Benefield (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Nick Perry (Lindsey), Lauren Todd (Mitch), Tre Benefield, Sydney Phares, Elle Benefield, Eli Phares and Henri Benefield; his great grandchildren, Acelyn, Ryne Parker, Rhett, Avie, Rhys, Nolan, Charlie Grace and Charlotte Rose; and his brother Billy Mack Benefield.
