He is survived by: his parents, Donald Gene Yates and Gladys Louise Arrington Carr; his daughters, Jennifer Bedsole (Jimmy) and Laura Totcky (Garrett); his siblings, Kevin Yates (Tara), Brian Carr (Cassie) and Glendia Breaux; his godson Damen Guthrie; and his grandchildren, Christopher Bedsole, Luke Bedsole, Drew Bedsole and Layla Totcky. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
