He was predeceased by: his wife Betty S.; his parents, Bessie Lois and Richard David Caples; and his siblings, Juanita Caples, Macy Ann Caples, Rosa Eileen "Coota" Hughes and John Roger "Pete" Caples.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Lancaster (Donnie) and Tracy Whitfield (Mike); and his siblings, Dorothy Minor, Margie Clements, Joyce King, Linda Myrick (Cord), Cecil Caples (Jeanette) and Dennis Caples (Diane). He is also survived by four grandkids; six great grandkids.
