With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Jean Godfrey of Hokes Bluff, Alabama, born in Acworth, Georgia, who passed away on October 25, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Frank Godfrey; her parents, Ross Kendrick and Jessie Inez Pope; and her siblings, John C, Pope, Dora Terry and Mary Sue Gibson.
She is survived by: her husband Frank C Godfrey Jr.; her daughter Nickie Jean Godfrey; and her grandchildren, Brian Morgan (Carolyn), Dean Griffin (Carey), Jamie Griffin, Beth Courson (Chris), Sommer Mims (Chris), Hazlehurst and Jayson Dominey (Jennifer). She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; several brother and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
