It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark A. Garrard (Hokes Bluff, Alabama), who passed away on August 12, 2020, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Garrard and Peggy Garrard; and his brother Keith Garrard. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jenkins Garrard; his daughters, Sherrie Rector (Leon) and Susan Garrard; his grandsons, Dylan and Kaleb Rector; and his siblings, Dale Garrard (Susan), Stacey Garrard (Glenda), Mike Garrard (Janet), Darryl Garrard (Debbie), Tommie Garrard (Angela) and Sharon Knight.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

“Mark was one of my closest friends who I loved dearly! I’ve known since we found out that he was sick this day would come but still I wasn’t ready nor was I expecting it! Mark was a special soul and In that small frame lived a huge heart!! There is a hole In me that will never be filled! Trish I’m so sorry! You were Marks whole world and he had no problem telling anyone! He was a good man and the best friend a man could ask for!! I am honored to be able to call him my friend!”
