He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ruis and Ollie Ward; and his parents-in-law, Charles Elliott and Helen Basden. He is survived by: his sons, Jason Ward (Nancey) and Jeramy Ward (Brandi); his grandchildren, Adrianna and Jeremiah; and his brother Guinn Ward (Kay).
