Judy Kay Young Obituary

We bid farewell to Judy Kay Young of Hokes Bluff, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 28, 2024 at the age of 80. Judy Kay touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Sewell and Christine Lankford Sewell. She is survived by: her husband John Henry Young; her sons, Scott Young (Karon) and Jeff Young (Marsha); her grandchildren, Cody, Justin, Sean, Aspen, Savannah, Leland and Faith Young; her great grandchild Bryce Young; and her brother Larry Sewell (Sue). She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Collier-Butler Funeral Home (824 Rainbow Dr, Gadsden, AL 35901).

In lieu of flowers, donations on Judy's behalf can be made to Croft Ferry Baptist Church in Ball Play.
