We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2025, at the age of 81, John Michael Pruitt of Hokes Bluff, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas P. Pruitt and Nancy Pruitt; and his siblings, Boyd L. Pruitt, Ray Pruitt, Pete Pruitt, Larry Pruitt, Betty Coats and Carol Haggard.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda Pruitt (McDonough); his children, Johna Shaneyfelt (Russell), Jarod "Judd" Pruitt (Pam), Jay Pruitt (Holly) and Justan Pruitt (Sarah); his grandchildren, Cody Shaneyfelt (Heather), Caleb Shaneyfelt (Anna), Jeremy Pruitt, Reagan Pruitt, Grant Pruitt, Carson Pruitt and Gavin Pruitt; his great grandchildren, Bryson and Stetson Shaneyfelt; and his sister Faye Pollard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
