He was predeceased by: his wife Ernestine; his son Michael Ray; his son-in-law Rodney Goode; his parents, Jeff Marker and Nettie Marker; and his sister Romona Phillips.

He is survived by: his children, Retha Goode, Denise Weaver (Harold) and David Marker (Sheila); his daughter-in-law Sherri Marker; and his grandchildren, Amy Bain (Chris), Jason Weaver (Carla), Jennifer Graham (Brian), Josh Marker and Zach Marker (Trish). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
