She was predeceased by: her husband Ennis Marbut; her parents, William David and Eva Gidley Shields; her stepmother Jimmie Lee Shields; her siblings, Comer Shields, Buddy Shields and Dee Heath; her sister-in-law Wylene McGinnis; her stepbrother Horace Porter; and her brother-in-law Donnie Marbut.
She is survived by: her son Daryl Marbut (Shirley); and her sister Cat Marbut. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hokes Bluff Funeral Home (1901 Piedmont Cutoff, Gadsden, AL 35905). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Youngs Chapel Cemetery (44 Youngs Chapel Rd, Piedmont, AL 36272).
