She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Handley and Dorothy Handley; her brother Ronnie Handley; and her father-in-law Joe Chavers. She is survived by: her husband King Chavers; her mother-in-law Carolyn Chavers; her children, Lacy Sexton (Suzy) and Hannah Huff (Josh); her grandchildren, Drew Smith, Wellington, Taylor Smith (Autumn), Braxton Logan Smith and Logan Sexton; her sister-in-law Amy Smallridge (Ricky); her niece Abby Smallridge (Auburn); and her cousins, Marcie Womack (Ron), Melinda White (David), Greg and Letitia Watkins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Anita's honor to Way of the Cross Ministries, 101 N. 24th St. Gadsden, AL 35904.
