He was predeceased by: his wife Maeburn Johnson Lovett; his son Randy Lovett; his grandchildren, Jared Lovett and Ramanda McDuffa; his parents, George Ruben and Agnes Ola Hulsey Lovett; and his siblings, James McKinley Lovett, Mary Marie Treadway and Barbara Herndon.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Raper and Freda; his grandchildren, Brandon McDuffa (Kendra), Misty McCarley (Shannon), Jason Lovett, Tabatha Nichols (Kevin), Kyle Lovett, Alison Raper and Jamie Raper; his great grandchildren, Bailey McCarley, Insley Lovett, Caleb Lovett, Blaine McDuffa, Dacey McDuffa, Greysen Nichols, Brody McDuffa and Elayna Nichols; his sister Donna Lovett Marquiss; and also Wanda Sue Lawler.
