She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Dotson and Mary "Sug" Moore Dotson; her husband Reverend Bruce Rutherford; and her siblings, Mary John Cottingham, Mattie Bell Williams, Bill, MacArthur Payne and Ricky Dotson.
She is survived by: her son Rodney Rutherford (Hope); her granddaughter Ashley Rutherford; and her sisters, Kathryn Pressnell of Dalton and Lee South of Decatur. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
