She was predeceased by: her parents, Rannell Sherrod and Lockett Sherrod; and her brothers, James Louis Sherrod (late Katie Sherrod) and David Sherrod. She is survived by: her siblings, Earnest Sherrod Sr. (Clara Sherrod), Jessie Sherrod Sr. (Connie Sherrod), Eleanor Sherrod Goodlow (Connie Goodlow) and Barbara Sherrod. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
