He is survived by: his children, Marietta Hill, Daphne Simpson, Frederick Simpson, Steven Simpson (Birdester) and Bryan Simpson (Clynise); and his siblings-in-law, Curlie Horton, Juliet Foster, Mattie Simpson, Ernest Hall and Major Foster. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and a host of of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
